Actually, I just checked, and you did comment on two of my photos in the contest on Saturday (plant and hummer posted on the 23rd)... so you must have been able to open them up.

Have no idea why you aren't able to open up my photos, Sherrie. I had the same problem with one of my photos last week, and Kevin told me to switch from IE to Mozilla Firefox browser, and then I didn't have any other problem opening anything. Just a suggestion. Sue

Well, some of them melted and went downhill to the Pacific Ocean...but I suppose on the way they could evaporate into the atmosphere....however, Montana has been very dry, so it must be going somewhere else...

I enjoyed your comment about the blue ice of the glaciers you've walked on. I've never been able to tell the difference between a snow bank and a glacier because most of those in Montana were covered with snow! Anyway, here is a link that shows how much they are shrinking...and they all look like snow fields!
